What motivates you to get up in the morning and grind until your head hits the pillow at night? All a person’s ways may seem innocent to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord (Pr. 16:2). Many strategic business and relational models ask the question “why” before “how” or even “what”. Why do you wake up and invest the limited twenty-four-hour cycle of your day the way you do? Have you recently answered the why of your habits, choices, relationships, and work? Have you honestly dug into why you are frustrated at work or why you struggle with relationships? The easy answer points why at someone else, but a friend once told me, "if you are frustrated the first place to look is the mirror."
Learning to live without regret begins with answering the question why – regularly. What motivates you?
